When placed in the ground and activated, sonic pulses penetrate the soil, emitting a sound that is highly irritating to moles and gophers, who are virtually blind and sensitive to sound and vibrations. Depending on the climate, the Sonic Spike can remain in the ground to repel new generations of pests.

The Sonic Spike is designed with a convenient removable battery sleeve, making battery replacement trouble-free. One spike will work for 4 to 6 months on a single set of alkaline batteries. However, it must be used continuously for 7-14 days before moles and gophers start to move away from the area.

This repellent device uses sonic frequencies to penetrate the soil and humanely drive away moles and gophers. It emits these sonic frequencies every 30 seconds, ensuring that the moles and gophers never get used to the sound and vibrations.

The spikes work in a circular pattern, covering an area of approximately 95 feet in diameter, providing up to 7,500 square feet of coverage per sonic spike. The spike can be installed flush with the ground, allowing you to mow your lawn and walk around your yard without any obstructions.

Each spike will run for approximately 4 to 6 months on a set of 3 "D" batteries (not included). Rechargeable batteries are not recommended for this device.
