Grown in the tropical rainforest of Puerto Rico, these air plants are excellent for terrariums. These air plants make a unique gift or party favor that your friends will adore. With easy care requirements, they only need a soak once a week and no soil is required. They make excellent display pieces for your unique home decor. The air plants range in size from 1.5 to 3 inches, and they will look very similar to the picture.

They require bright, indirect light, which can be sunlight or consistent indoor lighting, and only need watering about once a week.

Our air plants are grown and shipped from a mountaintop in the rainforest of Puerto Rico. They are grown organically and often feature plants in color and many in flowers. However, please note that air plants are tropical and very sensitive to cold, so it's important to have your package delivered to an address where it can be accepted right away and not sit in a cold mailbox. A care instruction card from It Blooms Puerto Rico will be included in every order.

The package may include Ionantha ionantha, Ionantha scaposa, Ionantha rubra, Ionantha Mexico, and Ionantha fuego. These 3-pack of Ionantha species Tillandsia, also known as air plants, are low-maintenance and require only normal care. To care for these plants, simply soak them with water once or twice a week, allow them to dry before returning them to their containers, and supplement with fertilizer a few times per year.

Air Plants (Tillandsia) are hardy bromeliad plants grown in Puerto Rico that don't require soil to grow. Simply soak them in water for 20 minutes once a week and let them dry out. They require indirect, but bright light, and are hardy enough to almost handle full sun if acclimated first.

Air plants can add beauty to both indoor and outdoor spaces. They are excellent for terrariums, drift wood displays, wall planters, containers, globes, and can be used to stylize vertical garden displays. Assorted Tillandsia (air plants) can also decorate events like weddings, birthdays, and Christmas, and can be used as party favors, centerpieces, or unique gifts.

Please note that plants may not always arrive in bloom, but we strive to have at least one plant in every parcel arrive with color. We do not use artificial floral spray to color our plants, so some color may be lost in transit, but it will return with enough sunlight.
